The sun took us all by surprise this weekend. With snow showers on Thursday to clear warm skies on Saturday most people stayed local to enjoy their parks, and that's exactly what we did. Venturing through the Ultimate Frisbee players on the common, up to Clapham Old Town to see the local boutiques.
We were pleasantly treated when local hairdresser Daniel Scuffell decided to open up his hobby to the rest of the town. Every weekend Daniel converts his salon into a pop-up shop, showcasing his vintage treasures that he seeks from markets around the world. This isn't just a usual 'garage sale', Daniel has classics, such as the Gurgle Jugs from Staffordshire, bright and beautiful glass cut decanters, sunburst 50's clocks and silver tabletop accessories. Prices range from a £3 for 1960s gravy boat to £350+ for a classic home bar.
We urge you, if you love classic home accessories (and we do) to go down and visit Daniel. He's located at 31 The Pavement, Clapham, SW4 0JE. His pop-up shop is open every weekend.
