4 Spritz Recipes you Need to Know for this Summer

Spritz cocktails are the official trending drink of the summer. They’re all over your instagram feed, holidays snaps and your favourite bar’s specials board. And too rightly, they’re delicious!
What is a spritz? Well originally a spritz was intended to dilute wine, by just adding a touch of water - seems wrong doesn’t it? Then people started adding prosecco and bitters and the opportunities soon became endless.
We’re here to give you a no-frills guide to making a spritz. Follow our simple steps below to create your own delicious drink, great to share with friends, and perfectly uncomplicated.
What ratio should a spritz be?
Simply follow the 3:2:1 ratio when adding prosecco, bitter and soda

Limoncello Spritz
3 parts prosecco, 2 parts limoncello, 1 part soda
Exact measurements (per glass):
75ml prosecco, 50ml limoncello, 25ml soda
Our tip: if you prefer an even sweeter spritz, add a honey or honey syrup, decorate with frozen lemon slices and a sprig of rosemary
Aperol Spritz
3 parts prosecco, 2 parts Aperol, 1 part soda
Exact measurements (per glass):
75ml prosecco, 50ml Aperol, 25ml soda
Our tip: add a squeeze of orange juice and add orange slices for a juicier taste
Hugo Spritz
3 parts prosecco, 2 parts elderflower cordial, 1 part soda
Exact measurements (per glass):
75ml prosecco, 50ml elderflower cordial, 25ml soda
Our tip: for a stronger drink add a splash of gin, then decorate with fresh mint and cucumber slices
Strawberry Spritz
3 parts rosé wine, 2 parts Soda, 1 part Campari, crushed strawberries
Exact measurements (per glass):
75ml rosé, 50ml soda, 25ml Campari, roughly 5 strawberries, crushed
