Sparkling Basil Lemonade

Because who doesn’t need a refreshing fizz to kick them into Spring?


Ingredients: roughly 4 fresh basil leaves, double measure of vodka, 1 heaped teaspoon granulated sugar, 2 double measures of lemonade, 1 double measure of soda water, a wedge of lemon to squeeze.


Method: Add the basil, granulated sugar and lemon juice to the bottom of your glass. Use a muddler or back of a spoon to crush the basil and release its flavour. Add ice, vodka, lemonade, then soda water, serve with a slice of lemon.


Bluebonnet

This beautiful blue-coloured drink really packs a punch so use plenty of ice and add syrup to your taste.


Ingredients: Double measure of tequila, single measure of orange liqueur, single measure lime juice, a dash of blue curacao and grenadine


Method: Combine all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake. Pour into a glass over lots of ice, garnish with a lemon wedge and rim the glass with granulated salt if you wish.


Limoncello Sherbet Spritz

Ingredients: half a lemon, sherbet dip dab, 1 double measure of limoncello, 2 double measures of prosecco, 2 double measures of soda water


Method: Use half of the lemon to rim the edge of a wine glass, tip the sherbet onto a plate and press the glass rim into the sherbet. Put a small teaspoon into the glass too if you like a sweeter taste! Fill the glass with lots of ice cubes, pour over the limoncello, then add the prosecco and soda water. Finish with a few lemon slices to serve.


Hot Cross Yum

Go full on easter-themed with this delicious toasty, spiced cocktail.


Ingredients: 1 double measure spiced rum, 1 single measure ½ lemon juice and ½ lime juice, 1 single measure cinnamon syrup, 1 double measure cream, 1 double measure soda water


Method: Shake all the ingredients together well, serve over ice, garnish with nutmeg or cinnamon on top.


Raspberry Jam Spritz 

Feeling fruity? This super easy recipe can be created in seconds, ideal for those last minute, spontaneous cocktail nights.


Ingredients: 2 teaspoons raspberry jam, 1 double measure of vodka, 1 double measure of lemonade, 2 double measures of soda water


Method: Add the jam to the bottom of a wine glass, add ice over the top, you could even use a unique ice shape like diamonds to create a more effective look. Try to freeze raspberries into each ice mould if you have fresh ones. Pour over the vodka, lemonade and soda water and give it a good stir before that first delicious sip.
